What happens in those quiet moments when you're near 50, living in the 'burbs with kids and husband in tow, teaching law to undergrads, and a hopeful liberal? You grab a coffee and read a few blogs. Write one.
Snails are so adorable! Once I get a camera that can take good close-up shots of my hermit crabs they'll be all over my blog!
isn't it funny... black and white photo's drawing so much more out of the camera's lens than color... maybe it's my eyes... maybe i prefer making the colors up on my own... maybe, just maybe, we are all black and white and gray so this seems more realistic...most guitarist hate playing B chords... it's tough, and your hand cramps... and most of the time without practice, it sounds like a 13 year old trying to play the violin... but, when it's practiced, and played right, it's simply beautiful... complete...your words make me realize i need practice... i need stonger hands...
Rick, you are much too kind. As a note, there is something spectacular about good B&W photography - definitely something intangible. I like both your explanations.Matzahnacho, I look forward to the hermit crabs! Get to it, girl!
