R.I.P. Sassy
We lost our beloved girl today, doing what she loved...running like mad, down the street. Playing the jester just one too many times. We will miss you, doglet.
Thank you, Dale. We are so, so, so sad at the Bliss household. We loved that dog, oh so much, warts and all. I was waiting for the children to tire of the dog as some do, and they never did. They loved her and showed it until the moment that dog hit the street on Sunday afternoon. Our house will never be the same.
Oh dear, I am so sorry Adriana! For you and your kids/family. It's a terrible feeling of loss and sadness, I've been there lots of times myself. (((Hugs to all)))
Thank you, Lori and Carolyn. The blow has been softened slightly by another stray min-pin that found its way to our house Sunday afternoon, oddly enough. But...no dog can replace Sassy. I miss her coming into my room at 3 in the morning, to slip under the blankets at my feet. She'd sleep with the kids first, or stay on the couch, but when it came down to it, she'd settle in with mama. That dog. I'll post soon about our new member of the family, Buster Camere (i.e. come here). Poor little thing.
